  12. SortMail lets you search incoming mail for messages containing configured
  13. addresses, user names, subjects, etc.  Once a message is found, SortMail
  14. can do one or more of the following:

  16.   · Copy or move it to another conference
  17.  
  18.   · Save it to disk
  19.  
  20.   · If it is a digest; split it into seperate messages
  21.  
  22.   · If it is an Aminet RECENT listing; parse it into the filebase and/or
  23.     display a list of new files in the New Files window
  24.  
  25.   · Execute external ARexx scripts.  A script for running executables is
  26.     included
  27.  
  28. Possible uses for SortMail include sorting mailing list messages into
  29. seperate conferences, moving messages from certain persons into their own
  30. conference, maintaining an index of files available on AmiNet and saving
  31. messages from mailing bots to disk.

  33. Through the use of external ARexx scripts you can also add new functions
  34. yourself.

  36. SortMail will also write log messages addressed to the user with warnings
  37. and errors that occured while processing the messages, information from the
  38. AmiNet RECENT messages and optionally statistics on SortMail's doings.

  40. In other words it is not of any use for people without an Internet Email
  41. address.

  55.          from the Shell without the SHANGHAI switch, even if it didn't
